What makes Sandplay therapy a good fit for children and teenagers compared to other types of therapy?

Sandplay is different to other forms of therapy that may be offered to children due to its effective and playful nature.  This allows for children to express and work through difficulties that may have presented in their lives.

How do you typically involve parents or guardians in the therapy process for their children?

Parents and guardians are met with first to provide an informed background to increase therapeutic benefits. The first consultation is conducted with the parents/guardians and after this stage, a minimum of 10 sessions is recommended. Then therapeutic plan is re-visited in consultation with the parents/guardians.

What common difficulties or feelings do the children and adolescents you work with usually experience?
